Getting to Corsica
How to reach Corsica?
Nostra Casetta Corsa shares a few tips to help you travel at the best price.
If you are planning your holidays in Ghisonaccia (Costa Serena), here are some useful guidelines:
- Land or arrive preferably on the east coast of the island: Bastia (air & sea) or Figari (air).
- Arrive early on the first day and leave late on the last day to fully enjoy your holidays.
- In Corsica, a car is essential: distances are measured in time, not kilometers. Public transport is very limited.
- Compare prices carefully depending on your stay:
- Flight + car rental
- Private vehicle + ferry + cabin
